Halloween Dragon by sahnn Halloween Dragon by sahnn
My friend had a pumpkin carving party at her apartment, so I did a dragon.
I was quite happy with the way it turned out, and it was a lot of fun. It was only the second time I'd done it, the first time being in like... elementary school?
Unfortunately it got really moldy on the 30th, so it didn't actually make it to Halloween.

The other pumpkins were pretty awesome too, and they look incredibly nice when lit.

In retrospect, my pumpkin reminds me of mortal kombat...

It's very cool. I can kind of see the mortal kombat resemblence but honestly that's not the first thing I thought of when I saw it. Just a heads up, this year I looked up ways to keep pumpkins from going bad. It said to put petroleum jelly on the cuts, and the inside to seal in the moisture. I put it on the cuts but not on the inside (some part of me is hesitant to cover anything I intend to put a candle etc in that contains word petroleum in it's name). Anyway it sees to have worked and my pumpkins didn't go up in flames.

I'm not sure if it'll last a full week but it does seem to help. Mine just started getting really bad yesterday.
